China Map Assignment
Using your book and internet sources, label a blank outline map of China and the surrounding region. Do this successfully, clearly and accurately and you'll get a B. To receive an A, you need to do something extra, which is explained below. You can get a blank map from Mr. Grande and at the link below

To get an A on this assignment:
You'll need to conduct a little research about Chinese demography (population characteristics) and geography and illustrate 1-2 features with a short analytical narrative about what those features tell us. With another person create a hand-made, hand-drawn or computer-generated map of China or find some other neat and clean map of China (or Asia). You might use three-dimensional objects or create a video or animation. Here's a blank map available on Prezi (log in and save a copy under your name). Make your map interesting, creative, cool, colorful. Add a layer of vellum (tracing paper) to overlay extra features. and make it look like an ancient map. You may also make a DETAILED map of Asia out of cake for class consumption. It better taste good and look real good.

Your extra research should be represented graphically on a map of China, not as text or an explanation in the margins--though you need to add a paragraph of analysis on a separate piece of paper. Try to include research that tells a story or shows a trend, like why certain areas are good for agriculture, have a higher population density, natural resources, etc. Or consider including important cultural and historical features in each region with some exp
